Christmas Tour

Starting last year, all the ladies in Cody's family decided to get together and do a Christmas decoration house tour. We also combined this idea with a cookie exchange. So everyone decorates their whole house, including every room, and makes a treat for everyone to take home. The tour comes by looks at all the decorations, grabs a treat, then moves along to the next house. We end the tour with dinner at Cracker Barrel. I loved the tour last year, so I was absolutely Thrilled that I was going to be able to be apart of it this Holiday Season. We all worked hard in preparation to the tour. It is so much seeing how each person decorates differently. Some people love to collect snowmen, some are into Santa Clause's, different village displays, variations in creativity with color, it's just all so very neat! We all had a blast, and were already planning for Christmas Tour 2011!

First Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful. However, we do not need to only recognize what we are thankful for on this day, but every day of the year. With that said, Cody and I had a great "First Thanksgiving" as Husband and Wife! We were able to see my parents, as well as all of his family. We definitely had plenty to eat! With it being our first Thanksgiving, I had to prepare our very first dish that we were able to contribute to the feast! How fun :) A great way to kick off the Holiday season as a married couple!
Not only was it Our First Thanksgiving, But it was also

Pumpkins, Chickens, and an Army man

Halloween sure did not even feel like Halloween this year. With the wedding at the beginning of October, and our Honeymoon in the middle...Halloween kind of slipped to the back burner. However, we still found time to carve pumpkins with the family. Cody and I carved one together, Kenneth helped Dallen out with his, and Ashley carved a baby pumpkin just for Rylen! All the pumpkins turned out great! We always have a good time when we are all together! Pictures of the Pumpkin Carving and the boys in their Halloween Costumes!

Practicing for the Big Day!

It was so nice having everyone together on the night of rehearsal. There was no nerves, no stress, no one running around, it was all just really laid back and fun. Which is nice, because that whole week had been craziness! We rehearsed right there in the woods where the wedding was held. Being that we had it there we were really pushed for time, because it was getting dark on us very fast! However, we were able to go through all of the motions more than once and everyone was ready for the big day! Dinner was held immediately after at the Lulu Advent Church! Cindy done a fabulous job decorating. And Cody's brother in law and uncle cooked the meat, while all the ladies prepared the side dishes. It was delicious! After everyone ate we had a chance to pass out bridesmaids gifts, groomsmen gifts, flower girl gifts, ring bearer gifts, and mother gifts. Everyone loved their presents! I could not wait to pass them all out! Once rehearsal dinner was over, our bridal party followed us out to the community center to practice our dance for the day of! We danced to a version of "Thriller" by Michael Jackson. Song choice was very appropriate for an October wedding. We had so much fun practicing. Of course we had to move very slow because of the boys! They caught on though, and us girls were very proud of them! It was such a good night. So much was accomplished and that all lead to victory dances..or I guess that's what we can call all the break dancing the boys were doing. Maybe they were just glad to finally do moves other than Thriller! ;)
Here is a few pictures of the evening!

Bridal Portraits

To be short and sweet and sum this one up...My wonderful Mother in law took these Bridal Portraits of me at the same house at which I had my shower. We had so much fun taking them. My photographer was unable to do this session, so Cindy stepped in. And I am so glad that she did...we were able to spend time together and Cindy got to do what she loves to do: take pictures! I thought I would share a few of our favorites :)

My Bridal Shower

My bridal shower was beautiful! It was given to me by a fantastic team of ladies, who always go above and beyond! It was held in the house of a family friend, who lives in a fabulously old, and very vintage house. It went perfect with the theme of the whole wedding! All the ladies made great snacks, and my sister in law contributed a beautiful cupcake tree. This was a calling shower, where my guests had the option to drop and their gifts and leave after the opening, or they could stay for a few snacks and socialize. I had an amazing turn out. All of the gifts are so very much appreciated, we received everything that is needed to turn our house into a home. I will never be able to thank everyone enough for all the of gifts, and all of the help, I didn't have to do much of anything! A huge Thank You to everyone who attend, and of course to Aunt Jenny, who opened up her home to us. It was such a fun time, and definitely a very bright highlight of this journey to the wedding!

Girls Night Out!

First and foremost, a huge thanks to Ashley and Cindy for throwing me an Awesome Girls Night Out/Lingerie Shower!

What fun! My bridesmaids and
I, along with very close friends and a few family ladies got together for a very fun Girls Night! This all consisted of a totally divalicious photo shoot with my girls, hilarious and sexy gifts, great mexican food, sticky bubble gum games, and many fun memories! Little black dresses and high heels was the dress code for the party! You cannot get much sexier than that! I could not have asked for a more fun night to just let loose, laugh, blush, and thoroughly enjoy myself. Thanks to all the girls who attended. I had a blast! Few pictures are posted below of the photo shoot, and through out the evening!

The photo shoot: I dressed in red while
my bridesmaids dressed in black. We all had necklaces and tiaras! We always have a blast when we are all together, so the fun that came out in the pictures was all natural!
